Binfield U23s secured a convincing 9 – 0 victory over a depleted Fleet Spurs. A change of venue to the 3G at Kings due to a waterlogged Iconic Stadium didn’t impact the young Moles who made a fast start with goal straight from the kick off which set the tone for a dominant 1st half and a 3 – 0 lead at the interval.
Fresh legs were introduced through the second half and as Fleet tired further goals were added for a full time 9 – 0 scoreline.
Goals from: Matt Greenhough (2), Monty Brady (2 – 1 pen), and a goal each for Ewan Hammond, Connor Gonzalez, Jake Cooke, Joe Jacobs and Ellis Smith.
Next up for the lads is an away trip to Burghfield on 5th October – KO 2pm.
