Binfield Junior Football 5 a-side Tournament 2025

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the annual Binfield Football Club Junior Tournament, 2025. Unfortunately due to the EBFA season being extended by a week we are unable to host on the normal second weekend of May slot so for this year only the event will be held over the weekend of Saturday 31st May and Sunday 1st June.

Applications will be processed on a “first come, first served” basis. The closing date for applications will be Friday, 25th April 2025.

This year we are also expanding the number of entries available for the girls only age groups which are all being run on Sunday 1st June.

All age groups will operate as a 5-a-side tournament and will be open to boys and girls teams in the age groups U7 through U13 (mixed sex teams also welcome). This year our girls only age groups are U8, U10 & U12.

Entry Fee: £50 per team Maximum squad size 8 players.

Your place will only be confirmed once the payment process is completed AND you have received an email confirming that your payment has been received. Previous tournaments were over-subscribed so it is advisable to complete your online registration and make your payment as soon as possible. The deadline for entries is Friday 25th April 2025.

Start times and rules of the tournament will be provided following acceptance of your entry, but please note that our annual competitions start at 9:00am on both days.

Appendix

Entry Process

To clarify, a place may be reserved at any time, however, it will only be confirmed once full payment has been received.

Entries will be based on a ‘first come – first served’ basis, with fully paid entries taking priority over unpaid reserved teams.

Refunds will be given if a replacement team can be found in the event that a confirmed team needs to cancel, or if Binfield Football Club cancels the event.

Format and Goals

Subject to the number of teams that register, we aim for teams in each age group, with the exception of U7’s, to play 8 games in 2 phases (each game being 8 mins in duration). The U7 Boys will play, subject to the number of teams registered, 4 games (each game being 12 mins in duration).

Goals will be either 8’ x 4’(U7’s only) or 12’ x 6’ (all other age groups).

Car Parking

Car parking will be available in one of our car parks which are a 2 – 5 minute walk to the pitches. Disabled parking for blue badge holders will be available in the clubhouse car park with wheelchair access to the pitches. Please allow plenty of time to park your car as the narrow lanes close to the club do get extremely busy at the tournament registration times.

Car parking will be £5 to include a program and free access to the Binfield Junior Tournament app.

Please be aware that your age group may need to register from 08:30 and start games at 09:00, or may finish at 17:30/18:0
