Maidenhead United 2-4 Binfield Fire
Fire were quick out the blocks and playing some lovely passes with plenty of attacking intent, creating lots of chances from through balls and corners. We took the lead when Alex whipped in a corner which Yuvi headed against the upright, as Maidenhead cleared it fell to Max whose shot dropped to Erian who scored from just inside the box.
Against the run of play Maidenhead broke forward and their forward skilfully dribbled through before equalising just before half time.
Fire again were controlling the game with plenty of shots coming before Maidenhead broke away to score against the run of play to take the lead. This spurred Fire on and went straight on the attack and with Erian laying the ball off for Ben to curl a first time shot round the keeper.
With the bit between their teeth Fire continued to attack through the middle where the spaces were opening, and Erian followed in his own shot which came off the post to give us a deserved lead.
As Maidenhead pushed for an equaliser with Evelyn controlling midfield and the defence pushing forward the ball was played through to Erian, who superbly completed his hat trick, leaving the goalkeeper stranded.
The coaching team were again proud of the efforts and attitudes of the players.
