After the 4-0 defeat to Hartley Wintney on Tuesday night, the Moles travelled to Bedfont to play Rayners Lane hoping to restart their winning ways. Unfortunately, today was not the day for that.
The Moles were 4-0 down within 30 minutes and Ethan Lindo pulled one back for them to go in 4-1 down at half-time. The Moles management team shuffled the pack at the break and introduced Riley Robinson and Malachi Henry. For a while, it seemed that this might turn around fortunes when Tyler D’Cruz scored a goal in the 65 minute. However, that was the best of the second half and in the 85th minute Rayners Lane put the game to bed with a 5th goal for the game to finish 5-2.
The Moles welcome Ashford Town (Middx) to the Iconic Stadium on Friday for a game which will be important for the visitors as they try and avoid relegation.
