Following their league win over the Met Police FC on Saturday, the Moles now face the long trip to the south coast to play Hastings United FC in the quarter final of the Velocity Cup.

Who are Hastings United FC?

Hastings United Football Club, based in Hastings, East Sussex, is a semi-professional team currently competing in the Isthmian League Premier Division and playing home matches at The Pilot Field since 1985. Originally founded as Rock-a-Nore in 1893, the club underwent several name changes and league moves, becoming Hastings Town in 1976 and adopting the Hastings United identity in 2002. Their history includes stints in the Sussex County League, Southern Amateur League, and Southern Football League before settling in the Isthmian League in 2004. Known for their claret and blue colors, the club enjoyed significant success in the 1930s and 1990s, winning multiple league titles and cups. Their best FA Cup performance came in the 2012–13 season when they reached the third round.
