Following on from our 3-1 win over Wokingham Town in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round, the Moles now face an away trip to face Longlevens AFC.
Who are Longlevens AFC?
The club was established in 1954 and joined Division Four of the North Gloucestershire League. In 1968 they moved up to the Gloucestershire Northern Senior League. The club were Division One champions in 2008–09, and after a third-place finish in 2010–11 they were promoted to the Gloucestershire County League.
Longlevens were Gloucestershire County League champions in 2012–13. The following season saw them win the League Cup and retain the league title, resulting in promotion to Division One West of the Hellenic League. They went on to win Division One West in 2014–15, earning promotion to the Premier Division.
How did Longlevens AFC do in the Extra Preliminary Round?
Longlevens AFC were drawn at home against Winslow United of the Spartan South Midland League. The first game finished 1-1.
In the replay, it looked like Winslow were going through to play the Moles but Longlevens equalised late in the game before scoring two more in extra time to finish 3-1 winners.
Longlevens AFC reached the 2nd qualifying round of the FA Cup in 2021-22 where they lost 3-1 to Gloucester City. The Moles have gone one step further and made it to the 3rd qualifying round in 2022-23 where they lost 3-5 to Beckenham Town.

Longlevens is a suburb of Gloucester and the football club play at Saw Mills End, Corinium Avenue, Gloucester GL4 3DG.
Haven’t we played Longlevens AFC before?
Before the Moles were promoted to Step 4, they played in the Hellenic Premier league against Longlevens. The last time we played was in the Covid hit 2020/21 season where the away fixture was a 1-1 draw.
