AFC Portchester

Founded in 1971 as Loyds Sports, the club began in Division Six of the City of Portsmouth Sunday League and, after merging with Colourvision Rangers in 1973, moved up to Division Two. Renamed Wicor Mill in 1976, they joined the Portsmouth & District League, finishing as runners-up in 1997–98 and earning promotion to Division Three of the Hampshire League, where they adopted their current name. Successive promotions followed, and despite being denied promotion to the Wessex League in 2001–02 due to a lack of floodlights, they became founder members of the Wessex League’s Division Three in 2004. The club steadily climbed the divisions, winning the League Cup in 2014–15 and, in 2023–24, finishing fourth in the Premier Division and winning the Hampshire Senior Cup for the first time. The following season, they were crowned Premier Division champions, securing promotion to step four for the first time in their history.
