Binfield One Vision

Binfield FC announces ’one club’ vision

With so much going on in the world nowadays we thought that it might be a good time for us all to just take a moment and reflect on what our priorities are here at our football club.  Home to almost 500 plus players, members and coaches, the Football Club continues to be an important positive influence on so many people within our community.

Our ambition is to provide a safe and welcoming playing environment for our players, members, supporters, volunteers and all our visitors.  Binfield Football Club is effectively a community within a community and for those of us that are involved with making it all work, it’s a special place where lifelong friendships and positivity abound.

Our “One Club Vision” is simply this – “from the girls and boys in our Soccer School through to adult football and our impressive senior men’s First Team, there’s an opportunity for everyone to play football here at Binfield FC and there’s now a real pathway from the Junior end into Senior Football for those players who are able to further develop their skills and abilities into adulthood”.

We’ve put together a short video presentation that we hope our players and families will appreciate and enjoy. We think this it’s a great way of conveying our “one club” message.

Seeing a few of our own original Soccer School players running out for the First Team against Basingstoke Town FC was a proud moment for everyone involved at the club.

Enjoy!!!

New Season, New Team: Binfield FC U23 side ready to go

The 2022/23 season sees Binfield FC field an under 23 Development team in the Thames Valley Premier League – whilst initially, this is intended to provide an opportunity for those 18 / 19-year-olds who have just finished their Junior and Youth football journey, in the fullness of time it is hoped that it will further develop the young Binfield talent pool and provide a pathway (along with the resurrection of the u18 Allied Counties side under Nick White and Martin Smith) to senior football, hopefully for some lads at Binfield FC.

Under the management of Andy Harvey, who with Alan Hawkins, has seen a junior/youth team all the way through the age groups from the well-respected Binfield Soccer School to a phenomenally successful u18 season last year where Binfield U18s secured a League and Cup “Double” and the introduction of ambitious and passionate Coach Matt Humphrey, a great group of talented lads has been assembled, and already the bar has been set high and there’s hopefully much more to come.

Several training sessions have honed the squad and there have been four pre-season friendlies against established sides that will be playing in higher leagues, all of which have seen improving performances and confidence-boosting victories.

Binfield will feature in Division 3 with home games played at Kings Academy – watch this space and various social media platforms for their progress.
