Allieds Beat The Green

Our Allieds returned to action last night at Frimley Green and came away with a second 1-0 win on the bounce. George Creech scored the only goal of the game to make it three consecutive away wins for the team.

In a physical first half Jack Saleh kept the score at 0-0 with a fine save from deflected Frimley effort. Midway through the first half Marner was unlucky to see his shot deflected following a great run from centreback. The deadlock was broken just before half time. After a nice interplay between Snow and Pascoe the ball reached Cowley who beat his man before cutting the ball back for Creech to slot home.

Injuries forced Binfield into three early second half with Gilbert, Fairclough and Welch replacing Creech, Woozley and Marner. The reshuffled Moles defended well throughout aided by another great save from Saleh.

Earlier in the season the young Moles would have conceded a late equaliser but the boys all dug in to secure the three points.
