Garry Haylock was again, full of praise after the performance of his ‘resilient’ moles side as they dug deep against fellow playoff contenders Chertsey Town on Saturday afternoon.
It was “Another fantastic performance from the boys and I am so pleased that we got our reward.”
“We started quickly and after having a goal disallowed (not offside on the video!) and a penalty claim refused – stonewall on the video, it’s easy to start thinking it’s not going to be your day…”
The moles took an early lead though, thanks to Brad Pagliaroli’s 8th goal of the campaign.
The moles conceded an equaliser just two minutes later and Haylock admitted his admiration for his squad… “The resilience in this group is amazing and even conceded an equaliser didn’t faze the group”
“Towards the end we became a little ragged but still dug in and I can’t remember Harvey having to make a save
The key now is to replicate this again and again, starting on Tuesday”
