Match Report: Westfield Away

The Moles travelled to Woking to play Westfield hoping to break their three game losing run. The game didn’t start well when, after 9 minutes, Westfield broke down the pitch after a Moles attack and scored.

Mitch Parker could have scored after 25 minutes only to have one of his trademark free kicks was saved by Westfield keeper Lewis Gallifent. The Moles did equalise after 40 minutes when Ethan Lindo brilliantly controlled the ball and beat the Westfield keeper.

Westfield regained the lead 15 minutes into the second half when a free kick was played into the box and was pushed away by the Binfield keeper, but only to fall to Adebiyi, who lobs it over the keeper and into the back of the net. Substitute Dan Lewis drew the game level when he scored from close distant. In the final minutes, Moles keeper CJ pulled off a number of saves to ensure that the game finished 2-2.

The Moles now travel to Ember Court on Saturday to play the Met Police hoping to build on this draw and move up the table.
