Introducing: Uxbridge FC

Uxbridge FC

Football under floodlights is back at the Iconic Stadium. After three cup games in a row, the Moles are back in league action with a Monday night game against Uxbridge FC.

Who are Uxbridge FC?

Uxbridge FC were founded in 1871, celebrated their 150th anniversary last year and are one of the oldest clubs in the South of England. During the history of the club, they have played in a number of different leagues including the Corinthian, Athenian and then the Isthmian League which they joined in 1982.

The club finished second in Division Two South in 1984–85 and gained promotion to Division One, where they remained for twenty years. In the 2004–05 season, the club moved from the Isthmian league to the Southern league. They started in the Eastern division before being switched to the Central Division. In the 2018-19, they were moved again, this time to their current league Isthmian League Division One South Central.

Head to head record

Last season, the Moles and Uxbridge drew twice; 2-2 at Honeycroft whilst the return fixture at the Iconic Stadium finished 1-1 for the Moles to complete their great escape.
