About South Park (Reigate) FC

South Park Football Club was founded in 1897 and initially played on a sports field between Crescent and Church Roads. In 1925, the club formed a partnership with the local cricket club to create the South Park Sports Association, which aimed to improve athletic facilities for both clubs and the community. The association purchased land on Whitehall Lane, which became the permanent home of the club and was renamed “King George’s Field” in 1935. The club went through some tough times during and after World War II but rebounded with the help of donations and improved facilities, including a clubhouse and showers.

In 2001, the club merged with Reigate Town Football Club and renamed itself South Park & Reigate Town Football Club until 2003. The club has since undergone many renovations, gained promotion to higher divisions, and achieved success in various cup competitions. In recent years, the club has had several changes in management, including Harrison Williams taking charge in February 2022, and most recently, the club has renamed itself South Park Reigate in July 2022 to enhance its profile locally and in the wider football community. football pyramid before being promoted to Division One of the Combined Counties League in 2002-03.
