About Westfield FC
Founded in 1953 as Westfield Boys Club, the club began life in the Woking and District Football League, enjoying early success by winning both the Surrey Junior Charity Cup and Surrey Junior Cup before progressing into the Surrey Intermediate and then Senior leagues. Renamed Westfield, the club joined the Parthenon League in 1962–63 and finished runners-up, before entering the Surrey Senior League, where they enjoyed a golden period in the early 1970s, winning back-to-back league titles and a league cup double. The mid-1970s saw their FA Vase debut and a notable friendly victory over Dorking FC, while in 1978 Westfield became a founder member of the Home Counties League, later the Combined Counties Football League, remaining there for 27 seasons and making their first FA Cup appearance during this era. Despite periods of struggle, including relegation in 2005–06 due to ground grading issues, the club remained a consistent presence in county-level football.
The club experienced renewed momentum in the late 2010s, winning the Combined Counties League title in 2017–18 to secure promotion to Step 4 of the National League System for the first time in its history, followed by a play-off appearance the next season. Progress was disrupted by the abandonment of the 2019–20 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to managerial changes, with Simon Lane departing in 2023 and former professional midfielder Ian Selley appointed soon after. Under Selley, Westfield reached the play-offs again in 2023–24 and lifted the Aldershot Senior Cup for the first time. Selley resigned in May 2024 to join Leatherhead, with player-manager Andrew Crossley taking over and guiding the club to a 12th-place finish in the 2024–25 campaign.

The Moles haven’t beaten Westfield since their first meeting back in 2021. The last fixture at the end of the previous season was a 2-2 draw.
Currently, Westfield sit 2nd in the league on 46 points and the Moles sit in 20th place on 17 points.

Getting To The Iconic Stadium
Nearest Railway Station: Bracknell Railway Station is on the South West Railways line between London Waterloo and Reading. It is an eight-minute drive from the railway station to the Iconic Stadium. Alternatively, Bracknell Bus Station is a 2 minute walk from the railway station.
Bus: The nearest bus stop to the ground is on Church Lane and is served by the 151 and 151A Thames Valley Bus service which travels between Bracknell Bus Station and Wokingham Station. More details on the bus route here.
Parking
There are 200 spaces available to park in the ground. In the event that the club car park is full, then additional car parking is available at All Saints Church, Church Hill, Binfield RG42 5NS which is a 10 minute walk from the ground.
