Match Report / Photos – Hartley Wintney

Following their win over Southall on Saturday, the Moles are quickly back in league action as they welcomed Hartley Wintney to the Iconic Stadium. It was a memorable day for Moles Captain Dan Lewis as he celebrated his 100 Mole cap.

The game had plenty of chances for both teams but it was Hartley who took the lead in the 28th minute with a goal from Jake Rumble – the only goal of the first half. The Moles came out with all guns blazing and equalised in the 46th minute with a Logan Coles goal. Binfield thought they had taken the lead when Ethan Lindo put the ball into the back of the net from an incredible run by Abbey but it was ruled offside.

The game looked like it was going to finish a draw when Nathanael Boakye slotted when home in the 94th for the Moles to take all 3 points.

The Moles are back in action on Saturday when they welcome Moneyfields to the Iconic Stadium.
