Who are Ascot FC?
Ascot United Football Club was founded in 1965 and joined the Senior Division of the Reading League in 2001. They won the league in 2006-07 and were promoted to Division One East of the Hellenic League. They made their debut in the FA Vase in the 2010-11 season and played in the FA Cup for the first time in the 2011-12 season. In 2013-14, they won the Hellenic League Challenge Cup by defeating Ardley United 2-1. Ascot won the Challenge Cup again in the 2018-19 season and were transferred to the Premier Division of the Combined Counties League. They were placed in the Premier Division North of the league in 2021 and became Premier Division North champions in 2022-23, earning promotion. They also reached the final of the FA Vase.

In the two seasons since the Yellaman have been promoted to step 4, the two teams have played 3 times and Ascot have won them all. Last season, they won 4-0 at the Racecourse ground and 3-2 at the Iconic stadium. Earlier this season, Ascot won 3-1 at the Iconic Stadium with two goal from ex-Moles Taylor Morgan.
