Binfield Tennis Association’s (BTA) Annual Charity Fundraiser

Our friends at Binfield Tennis Association’s (BTA) are having their annual charity fundraiser on Sunday 6th September! It’s always a vibrant celebration of community, sport, and compassion and this time they are supporting Thames Hospice.

This year they are extending the day and making it more accessible to families by providing fun activities and games including ‘mini tennis’ and ‘speed-serving challenges’ while on the field there will be ‘beat the goalie’ & ‘bowl out the batsman’.

As usual the day will include a wonderful lunch and socialising with fellow club members as well as friends from the village. Local shops and businesses are again donating many great prizes for the raffle, and Mulberry Vets are once again supporting the event.

This year’s event:

10am – 12 noon – Family fun tennis on the courts with ‘mini tennis’ & ‘speed-serving challenges’ while on the field there will be ‘beat the goalie’ & ‘bowl out the batsman’
12.15pm – 13.45pm – BBQ with salads, desserts, cakes and cheeses
13.45pm – Friendly doubles tennis tournament following a similar format to previous years, being opened by the MP for Maidenhead, Joshua Reynolds
16.15pm to 5.15pm – Prize giving and raffle being led by The Worshipful the Mayor of the Borough of Bracknell Forest, Councillor Peter Frewer

Refreshments

Hot and cold drinks will be available all day and the stand-up BBQ lunch will be served from 12.15pm. They will have tea, coffee and squash available and to reduce the need for single use plastics, please bring your own refillable water bottle and mug.
