Binfield FC Statement following game at Met Police yesterday.
The football club is relieved to report that our player Tyler D’Cruz is now safe and comfortable in Hospital this morning after his very nasty coming together with a enclosure perimeter late in the game during our Isthmian League match with the Met Police yesterday.
Binfield Football Club would like to place on record our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to our amazing 1st Team Physio Salil Das, and Coaches Andy Bullet and Keith Bowen whom together with our friends at Met Police helped us look after Tyler whilst we waited for Emergency Services to arrive. We would like to put on record our huge thanks and gratitude to Megan Partington and Ian Griffith from the Met Police medical team who’s care, tenacity and professionalism made the ultimate difference to there being a positive outcome. The club would also like to put on record our massive thanks to Debbie Bull from Met Police who coordinated and communicated with Emergency Services during an extraordinary difficult time – we shall always be grateful for her leadership. To the Met Police Stewards Team who went above and beyond and of course, the wonderful Paramedics that eventually arrived – we salute you all!!!
The events of yesterday will stay with all of us for a very long time. The togetherness, exceptional humanity and professionalism displayed by both clubs will bind us together forever.
Thank you – we are truly grateful.
