Binfield under 23s inaugural season in the Thames Valley Premier League may well end in silverware, but the young Moles have four fixtures to negotiate before thinking about a trophy.
The Division Three title could arguably come down to the home and away ties between Binfield and Reading City Development which are due to be played on the 8th April (Binfield) and 20th May (Reading).
City though first have a mammoth backlog of 10 games to negotiate but their record so far reads six wins, one draw and one defeat.
Binfield’s other two remaining fixtures are against division strugglers Richings Park and Farnham Royals Mavericks.
Goring United Reserves 1-4 Binfield
Meanwhile on the pitch, it was another win on the board for Binfield as they beat Goring United Reserves away. Max Reid, Jake Fisher, Luke Territt and Jack Kittlesen got the goals for the Moles with Reid’s strike from a free kick caught on camera.
The Moles next fixture sees them face Richings Park away at Richings Park Sports Club on the 18th March.
