Manager Ross Weatherstone made two changes for the visit of South Park (Reigate) with Sam Mead and Toby Thompson coming into the starting lineup
The Moles got off to a blistering start when in the 2nd minute, Lamin Ceesay managed to keep in play, put the ball into the box for Sam Mead to put it in the back of the net. They doubled their lead in the 11th minute when Lamin lobbed the South Park keeper.
The game settled down and it was another 30 minutes before the Moles got their third when Amari Fashnau somehow scored through a crowded penalty box.
South Park made two changes at half-time and although it didn’t create any major chances for them, it did stem the goals and the games finished 3-0 to the Moles.
After the game, manager Ross Weatherstone said “3 goals, 3 different scorers, clean-sheet & 3 more pts in the right direction. Credit to all the players, attacking department were clinical, defensive department were resilient.
Next Sat is our last home game, it would be great to see as many of you with us”
The next game is the last home game of the season when we welcome Kingstonian to Hill Farm Lane – 18th April KO 3pm.
