The Moles Rocked By Bognor

Binfield welcomed Bognor Regis Town to the Iconic Stadium on a very wet November afternoon. The Moles had Josh Mcmenemy return to the squad after joining the club on loan from Maidenhead United.

The Rocks took the lead in less than a minute when Chad Field put the ball past Moles keeper CJ Fubler. It looked like the Moles had equalised when Owen Smith slid the ball in at the back post, only for the goal to be ruled offside. However, they did equalise in the 28th minute when Natty Boakye calmly slotted the ball between the legs of the Rocks keeper Dan Lincoln. In fact, it was some fines saves from Dan that prevented the Moles from going taking the lead. Bognor regained the lead in the 40th minute when Brandon Chebby scored.

In the second half, as the pitch got heavy, there were few opportunities for both teams. Levi Heholt saw a red card as he brought down Lee Seok-Jae on the edge of the box. The Rocks were unable to capitalise on their man advantage and the game finished 2-1.
