The Moles were hoping to extend their two game unbeaten run as they travelled up the M3 to play Hanworth Villa. This was always going to be a challenge as they have never beaten the Villians in 6 meetings.
There were few shots for both teams in the first half until Sam Merson struck and put the home team in front. The Moles pulled one back almost immediately as Kyle Daniel-Spray slide in Ejiro Abbey who found the bottom corner.
The Moles almost got off to a dream start when Eijro Abbey tried to curl his shot into the top corner, but luckily for Villa the post denied Binfield a second. Hanworth doubled their lead in the 71st minute when Correia’s shot was deflected over the line. Frustratingly, Binfield couldn’t put any real pressure on Hanworth and they sealed the game in injury time when Geraghty scored to make the final score 3-1.

With other results going their way, there wasn’t any change at the bottom of the league table. Next up, the Moles welcome Egham Town to the Iconic Stadium on Saturday 1st November.
