In the Berks & Bucks Senior Cup, the Moles were drawn against the highest ranked team they would probably face this season – Slough Town. During the afternoon, Slough announced their squad for the game and it was a strong one – full of first team players with a few academy players.
And so it proved to be. In an end to end game, the Rebels scored three unanswered goals. The Moles had chances but nothing could get past Slough keeper Desbois.
The Moles are back in league action on Saturday with a tough trip to Hayes & Yeading.
