The Vale Hits The Moles For Three

The Moles welcomed 2nd place Raynes Park Vale to the Iconic Stadium for what was expected to be a tough game.

The Vale took the lead in the 19th minute when Calvin Ekpetita headed in a cross from Tyler Cox. Just two minutes later, they double the lead when Omarr Lawson scored. On the half hour, they made it 3 when Kenny Beaney scored from a penalty after a Moles hand ball.

The chances were few and far between for the Moles and manager Ross Weatherstone made a double substitution at half-time bringing on Owen Cummins and the returning Reese Jones Jr – hoping to turn things around. The combination of the change and some top saves from goalkeeper, CJ Fubler kept the final score to 3-0.

Another game with some exciting runs down the wing but unfortunately few shots on goal.
