The Moles travelled to Marlow for this FA Cup Preliminary Round tie.
With the action being end to end in the first half, Marlow took the lead in the 25th minute when Nawaf put the ball in the back of the net after getting on the end of a clearance. The first-half finished 1-0.
The Moles had a chance to equalise in the 55th minute when they were awarded a penalty for a tackle on Amari Fashnau. Unfortunately Marlow keeper Ryan North came off of his line to push the ball wide of the goal. Nawaf then doubled Marlows lead in the 65th minute. Binfield then pulled one back in the 75th minute with a goal from Ethan Lindo – his 5th for the season and 4th in this years FA Cup.
Despite the Moles finishing strong, they were unable to find the back of the net and Marlow were 2-1 winner. Binfield now return to league action when they travel to Hayes to play Southall next Saturday 23rd August.
