The U18 Allieds continue the great weekend for Binfield as they progressed into the next round of the Berks and Bucks County Cup with a 3-1 victory against Kintbury Rangers U18 Youth.

In the challenging weather conditions, the Allieds used this cup game as an opportunity to rotate the squad and rest players after a busy week for our Youth Sides.

Kintbury Rangers took the lead inside the first twenty minutes after a promising start for the away side but Moles captain Ellis Smith equalised before half time from the penalty spot.

The Rangers had the chance to retake the lead when they were awarded a penalty against the run of play as the rained poured down at the Iconic. Jack Saleh, who scored on his debut on Thursday evening, was in goal tonight and saved well to his right to keep the match level.

That save inspired the Young Moles who took the lead minutes later when U16s striker Lucas Jacobs fired home and they doubled their lead when Matt Tweed scored a free kick which sent the Moles into the next round!
